How To Paint Your Face On A Pumpkin

Materials You’ll Need:

• A pumpkin
• Acrylic paint in various colors

Instructions:

1. Prepare your pumpkin.

Wash the pumpkin and pat it dry. If you want, you can draw a light pencil sketch of your design onto the pumpkin so you have a guide to follow while you paint.

2. Paint the base layer.

Using a large brush, paint a base layer of acrylic paint onto the pumpkin. This will be the background color of your face.

3. Add the facial features.

Using smaller brushes, paint the facial features onto the pumpkin. Start with the eyes, then add the nose, mouth, and any other details you want.

4. Let the paint dry.

Allow the paint to dry completely before handling the pumpkin.

5. Seal the paint (optional).

If you want your face paint to last longer, you can seal it with a clear acrylic spray.
